Responsive Website Developed for EV Chargers Direct

With increasing concerns regarding the impact of diesel and petrol vehicles on the environment, we were delighted when a local business startup, EV Chargers Direct, contacted us. They wanted to discuss creating a responsive website for their new venture, an electric vehicle charging equipment shop.

The EV Chargers Responsive Website

EV Chargers Direct is a supplier and installer of electrical vehicle charging equipment. They wanted a responsive website which would demonstrate how easy the electric vehicle charging process is to potential customers, as well as advertise grant opportunities. Haywyre was tasked with creating a one-stop shop where customers could purchase charging accessories for their electric vehicles.

Our Approach

Haywyre created a clean, responsive website which explains how easy the Electric Vehicle charging process is. Our goal was to strike the perfect balance between providing educational insights and offering a seamless shopfront experience. As part of this, we also created a short video for the website demonstrating how to charge an electric vehicle.

Grant Eligibility Questionnaire

A major function of the website was to advertise grant opportunities to potential customers. We tailor-made a Grant Eligibility Questionnaire enabling electric vehicle owners to check if they are eligible for a home charging unit grant. The potential customer answers a series of short questions which assess their eligibility, and if successful, they can request a call back from EV Chargers Direct.

Online Shopping Portal

We developed a custom online shopping portal using the Shopify framework, designed to offer EV Charger customers a streamlined avenue to purchase the required cables, accessories and charging points for their electric vehicle.

The Outcome

The custom Shopify storefront created for EV Chargers has proved extremely popular, and has needed minimal updating since its creation.
